THEODORA KANKAM

Programs Manager

Theodora Kankam is the Programs Manager for GLOWDEP on the CocoaAction Strategy Project which is being sponsored by The Hershey Company with support from UNICOM.

She is an astute Strategist, Planner and describes herself as a life-long learner. She specializes in project and strategic planning, impact and risk evaluation, financial and data analysis and reporting, among others.

For over five (5) years, Theodora has been involved in the planning, implementation and evaluation of projects for Non-Profit and Non-Governmental Organization such as The Caleb Generation Foundation, Good News Skills Development Program, Xia Honghui Mining Company Ltd., among others.

She also served as Programs Manager for The Kinkaway Foundation for two (2) years where she led a team of experts to plan and implement programs aimed to improve education of the girl-child in mining communities in the Western Region of Ghana.

She is disciplined, confident, creative and focused. She is an avid reader, writer and critical thinker. She speaks and write fluent English and can basically communication in French. She is passionate about making an impact especially in the areas of education and women empowerment because she believes these two can transform the world if much attention is given them.

Theodora has a Master of Art (M.A) degree in Economic Policy Management and a Bachelor of Science (BSc.) degree in Agriculture Science both from the University of Ghana, Legon. She also has several professional certificates such as Project Management from GIMPA, Leadership from The Freidrich Erbert Stiftung (FES) Foundation, Finance from Chartered Institutes of Management (CIM), U.K. among others.
